The process of the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is primarily one of prayer, discernment, and catechesis – learning about the teachings of the Catholic Church. Strengthened by God and the liturgical life of the Church, the natural end of this process is the reception of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism (if needed), Confirmation, and Eucharist.
